All of my christian icons were created according to the traditional eastern orthodox religious canons of painting. For gilding, i use only natural materials such as wood plank (linden), hesso (chalk earth and rabbit glue) and gold 23-23,75k. For paint, we use the traditional egg temperature - pigment and egg yolk - to obtain authentic and long-lasting treatment, which is coated with a protective lacquer.

The back is covered with a stain. Polyvinyl acetate ends are more moderate in darker tone for a nice finish.

Most of my icons are custom made and i'm happy to create your own icon for you if you have any questions or requests for your own icons, please let me know it takes 1-4 weeks to order. Please keep this in mind if you are ordering a special occasion such as a birthday, wedding or holiday.

You can order a rare saint icon that is hard to find. Get a copy of your favorite icon from your church. Order your own family icon that features patrons of multiple family members.

Note that all of my icons are completely hand-made and hand-painted, so colors and small details may be slightly different. Each icon is packed in two workshop boxes. While i do my best to make these icons resistant to all kinds of damage, please handle these delicate works with care do not place in direct sunlight or near a radiator.

Avoid droplets - it can chop off varnish and even paint. You can wipe with a soft, dry cloth if needed.

Please stay away from water.
