This is a butsudan, a holder for the gohonzon, a scroll that is important to people following nichiren buddhism. The scroll that this held will be included at no extra cost, but cannot be photographed in respect to the laws of the religion. The shrine is solid wood, 30 inches tall, 20 inches wide, and 15 inches deep, and weighs about 24 lbs.
There is a hook on the back that the string holding the scroll can wind around for hanging. The door comes completely off. This item is made of wood.
